1. Introduction

This Warranty and Returns Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which we provide warranties for parts sold and units serviced. This warranty policy is designed to ensure that our customers receive high-quality, reliable products and support for any issues that may arise.

Category 2 through 5 include the terms and conditions for Warranties.

Category 6 includes the terms and conditions for Returns.

2. Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers the repair or replacement, at our discretion, of any product found to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal use and service during the warranty period.

The following conditions apply:

  • The part must have been installed, maintained, and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • The part must not have been subjected to misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, or improper installation.
  • The product must not have been involved in an accident, negligence, or unauthorized repair.
  • If the part has been purchased on exchange, a warranty repair or replacement is available, no questions asked.
  • If the part was previously sent in for overhaul, only a warranty repair is available. Note: there is no warranty coverage for capacity tests; only on parts added or installed in the unit.

3. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by improper installation or maintenance.
  • Damage resulting from acts of nature, including but not limited to lightning, flooding, or other environmental factors.
  • Damage resulting from accidents, collisions, or other events not under our control.
  • Products that have been altered or repaired by anyone other than our authorized service personnel without our prior written consent. IE. The warranty Sticker has been cut or replaced.

4. Warranty Claim Procedure

To make a warranty claim, the following steps must be taken:

  1. Notification: Our Quality Control department must be notified of suspected warranty problems. The part number, serial number, and a detailed description of the issue must be provided to be considered for warranty.
  2. Return Authorization: Obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) form Universal Aero Accessories. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
  3. Return Shipping: Ship the defective product, along with the RMA form to our designated service center provided by your representative. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs.
  4. Inspection: Upon receipt, the product will be inspected and tested in accordance with the component maintenance manual to verify the defect. If the defect is confirmed and the warranty is valid, we will repair or replace the product at no charge.

5. Limitation of Liability

Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part, and under no circumstances shall we be liable for incidental, consequential, or other damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the product.

6. Returns

  1. Returns are only accepted within 60 days from the date of sale. Any returns requested after 60 days are subject to the discretion of Universal Aero Accessories.
  2. There will be no refund of purchase if the unit is returned after 60 days. Customers may return their purchased part(s) to avoid core billings but are subject to zero refund and/or applicable bill backs or restocking fees.
  3. Parts returned prior to the 60 day deadline will receive a credit for the initial purchase minus a 30% Restocking fee.

7. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend this warranty policy at any time. Any amendments will be effective immediately.
